Participants are strongly advised to determine their
individual requirements. A little planning and proper documentation will
ensure a minimum of formality when entering Canada. For temporary visits to
Canada a visa is not required for U.S. citizens in most cases. United States
citizens and permanent residents should carry a valid passport. Naturalized
citizens should be able to produce documents proving citizenship and
permanent alien residents should carry their immigration documents. For

Citizens from Countries Other than the United States |
|
Visitors must have a valid passport and, from some countries, a visa is
required. Persons who wish to enter the United States from Canada should
make proper arrangements before leaving their home country. For more
information please consult the nearest Canadian Embassy, High Commission,
Consulate or Agent. Also visit

Request for Letter of Invitation |

If you need a personal letter of invitation to attend the
Meeting, contact Bridget D'Amelio at
rheology@aip.org. Please provide the
following information: complete name, mailing address, and any other details
that your country of residence requires for your visa application. Only an
original copy (not faxed or Email version) may be accepted with your visa
application. The Meeting Organizers cannot contact or intervene with any
Canadian Embassy or Consulate office abroad on your behalf so please begin
your visa application process as soon as you determine that you want to
attend the SoR Annual Meeting. |
